First thing I thought about when they told me that we were closing in our 100th episode of NO RESERVATIONS was, “Wow! Has it been that long? That’s a crap load of shows! Todd must have shot about 97 of them! That’s gotta have been a LOT of air miles.”
Slightly more than 750,000 of them since 2005, I’m reliably informed. Which means Todd also spent around 300 hours just shooting scenes of me shoving food in my mouth.
The hour long look back that runs before the show does not count as one of those 100 episodes, by the way. I am generally wary of “clip shows” and have pretty much vowed never to do another one. Think of this as “additional content”–or as a DVD “extra”. But it’s worth looking at for the very funny retrospective of highs and lows with Zamir segment alone. We’re going to have to get him back on the show soon.
