Hotel Hell
This week we are in Ybor City, Florida, which is just outside Tampa Bay. This is an area of Florida I have never been to, and got to say, it was beautiful. There is a totally different vibe on this side of Florida. Ybor City itself was not what I expected. It had a New Orleans flare to it. There were a lot of bars/restaurants as well as great spots to enjoy a freshly rolled cigar and some good booze. I did get a chance to walk through town when I was not working and it seemed so friendly. What I mean is, that I didn’t get that, you don’t belong here look, which I get a lot of when I travel….lol. The town apparently has a great nightlife scene. Unfortunately for me, I was only able to see it during the daytime, but I could definitely see why & heard some great stories.
Amy & I were brought in to investigate a hotel (The Don Vicente Inn), which from the outside had charming appeal, but once inside and saw how really beautiful it was, I wanted to stay there. The looks, however were deceiving, especially once I learned about its very sordid & dark past, BEFORE it was renovated into a hotel. I could not believe the history in this town. Being born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, it’s hard to conceive that such a small town could have the amount of violence that it had and that it was riddled with organized crime & corruption, I was blown away. As I learned more about the history of the building itself and the characters associated with it, I was getting anxious to hear what Amy’s walk revealed to her. So until next time, stay safe……..SD
My parents told me I can go to that hotel soon; not this weekend going to the new legoland park, then on sat an airsoft game. I have experience with spirits and I quote to my friends "being afraid of me". I don't know what about me frightens them but I'd love to see the effect I give off in the hotel see if I can give those spirits a run for their money.
Hi Amy , just watching your show in Ybor City. I just wanted you to know that the information you received about a murder-suicide is correct. I was born there in 1958 and my mom told me about the doctor who delivered me had done just that. His wife was dying from cancer and suffering very badly. So he injected her with sometime to put her to sleep and then killed himself. The hospital kept it very quiet of course. Just wanted you to know you were right on.
I just saw this and have chills….The lady nurse she was talking about could have been my grandmother. She was 4 foot 8 and worked there. She passed away a few years back.. She loved being a nurse. For more information contact me and I will try to help fill you in. I visited the hotel last year and walked inside and felt a lot of emotions. I use to have to get shots there when young for asthma and stayed there on occasions for medical reasons. I was born in that hospital (clinic) My grandmother was there to bring me into the world. I will not tell you what she looked like, but I also knew other nurses that worked there. The basement gave me the creeps too.

I love the show, but have a comment, or question. Last nights show, when Amy was in the kitchen and she felt pushed by a man, was there another man besides the man who videos? Another words, are there more than the two in the walk through?
It looked just like the man in the kitchen with her as she was exiting was the same man she had the artist draw for her. Who was the man to her left as she walked out? At first, I thought no one else but her assistant who videos her should be with her, and realized that there has to be an additional camera man to capture video of the two of them.
In the frame where she is leaving the kitchen, its quick, but you can see a facial shot of someone new with them, which is so quick most people may not even see him. I slowed down the DVR and then went frame by frame. I snapped pictures off my screen of him.
He looked amazingly like the man she had the drawing done of. Same wide nose. So…do you have an image of the person who does the video of the two on the walk through, or did I happen to see this person she saw?

You are right…frame by frame its as plain as daylight. You can see facial features..it may be even to perfect to be true.

Hey– I love this show! It is better than all the other paranormal shows I've seen so far and I hope you guys keep it up! I was wondering if Amy does private house readings. I live in a 200 year old historic property and everyone here has experienced somthing. I thought i cleared it out but in the past two weeks two different people have heard voices again. How do I get you to come take a look at my place? I have been experiencing a lot of haunting/ paranormal activity.
I live in an adobe house built in the 1940’s, “The Wedertz Ranch” in Wellington Nevada. The property was owned by one of the original Portuguese families in the area who still ranch and move sheep through the area year round.

Here are a few things that have been happening to me:
A young child (I think, it sounded like one) woke me up whispering to me to be careful, there is evil… Then it vanished…
For several months I have been getting woke up around 1am and hear doors upstairs slam shut, hear running around, and voices, until 3:30am and then I am finally able to go back asleep.
Last week, I was woken again with lots of people having conversations around me, I opened my eyes slightly (didn’t want them to know I heard them) and saw a few shadows, one was sitting by me, the other was walking back and forth in the room, it sounded like I was at a party though, there were so many people talking.
I have been very frightened to go downstairs at all hours of the day; my bedroom is down there, so it is making having a good night sleep very difficult. I always feel like I am being watched while down there, I hate showering down there, I feel like something is watching me. Very freaky…
Anything you can do would be so appreciated! If you ever come this way, I would love for you to stop by and help me…
