Lizzie Borden House

The Lizzie Borden house, and the murders that had taken place there was a location and homicide I always wanted to investigate. The house was bigger than I expected and on a very busy street in Fall River, Massachusetts. The home was decorated in the same style during the time period that the murders took place (1892). The furniture in the home was an exact duplicate from the crime scene. The house was filled with photos of Lizzie, her parents & sister as well as crime scene photos.

Well enough about the house; the local people were very friendly to me, even after they found out I was a die hard GIANTS fan…Lol. The area had a lot of really good Portuguese restaurants and great service.  But, man was it cold!  We were right off the water near the border of Rhode Island, and it was very picturesque; I definitely want to go back when the weather is more appealing.

This investigation in the beginning seemed like a pretty open & shut case from what I had known about the murders, or should I say what I thought I knew. I was able to obtain several very quite interesting facts about the murders and interview people with vast knowledge of the case as well as Lizzie Borden herself. The people that knew about this case had very opposing opinions on whether Lizzie was guilty or not. I had my own opinion as to her guilt and what I thought was a motive. However, Amy brought something to the table that blew me away and made me reassure my beliefs; NEVER have tunnel vision when conducting an investigation. You guys have to watch this one and listen close; it will make you say, hmm. Till next time, stay safe.

Amy needs to push away from that Golden Corral buffet line this season

  3. Kathy George says:

That is definately one place that I have NO intention of going!! It seems that it doesn't want to be bothered, and I say leave it alone!

I had thought for a long time after seeing ghost hunters at the LB House that Lizzie was held there and was trapped there by her father, Amy is amazing. I only wish I had more of a open gift that she does.

There is a scene in the Lizzie Bordon episode where the camera is on the medium and she is dramatically stating there is something gone on in this house and the camera angle is on the left side of her face, then the right, changing several times. The medium has her hair parted on the right side, held back with a clip. But during this scene, the part is on the left side, then the right side, and then back again. So obvisiously, this scene was done in multiple takes. Kind of ruins the impression that this is a real time filming and it's more of a script played out. Which means that anything the medium says is all from a writer's imagination. So there is no medium then.

The expression you made in this episode when Amy started talking about the "sisterly activities" was priceless. Love the show. Keep up the good work.

This comment is now about the Lizzie show. It is about the one where people saw shadow people. I myself (durring a bad time in my life) saw shadow people. They were not like the ones described in your show where they were like black somke rising up from the floor to the celling. Theses were more like paper cut out dolls. There were two of them. you could make out the shape of their heads, bodies but their hands and feet just faded away. When I would sleep at night it was not like having my breath sucked away, it was like having a door placed over my body and having heavy stones put on top of the door. I could actually feel myself sink into by bed. They were not ghosts, or spirits. It was more like nevative energy with awareness. I don't know how else to describe it. Tried telling my sister about it, she thought I was crazy. Anyway just my thoughts.

This episode along with the " I see a gremlin" episode dreeped me out the most! To hear sisters were having sex,YUK! I also cant believe that there are so many different entities that can actually mess with our heads. The creature Amy refered to as "young" in comparison to the others she has seen. How many are there out there? The shaddow people that can influince kids to do bad things and now a gremlin. I couldn't sleep last night! Everytime I closed my eyes I visioned that drawing of the gremlin! I kept hearing crap too. I couldn't sleep before after the Lizzie show because I was so sad for her. Yes, she was a killer but so are some of our hero's when someone tells them to be. I love our troops but they have to kill when told. She is obvy not as honorable as our troops but she was definatly fighting a war.

the minute i heard your assessment of what went down in the lizzie bordon house all those years ago resonated with me. i think there were terrible things going on with the 2 girls and the dad and it fractured lizzie. maybe her sister was a survivor, but lizzie was the one who suffered the most. i think if the crimes were committed today in the same way, lizzied would be in a state hospital forever.

i don't see how you do what you do, taking on everyone's pain and misery and i applaud you for it. a lot of people don't believe, but i always have and now i have a granddaughter who has down syndrome and can see the dead. her mother and she live in a house that has little spirit children and taylor talks to them and unnerves her mother. an empath i know says that kids with disablities do have gifts. my granddaughter cannot talk very well and we know that if she could she could tell us a whole bunch of stuff. there was an investigation and my daughter's house and my granddaughter took over the investigation by talking in full sentences, something she doesn't do and let the investigators know about the bad spirit in the attack that wanted to kill my daughter. it was over the top, but i did not get freaked out because of how you teach us to do certain stuff. i passed that knowledge to my daughter. activity has calmed down quite a bit. my daughter recently got a dog and the dog has only reacted once to something standing in the doorway of my daughter's room.

please keep up the good work and keep the dead files on the air for a very long time.

    hugs to all of you!

posted once and lost it. the long and short of it, keep up the good work. (don't have energy to retype again what i posted the first ime.) you are a great teacher on how to protect ourselves from the bad spirits.

Has no one noticed the the 'Gremlin' Amy saw in the restaurant in Utah looked just like Gollum from Lord of the Rings. Wonder how he made it here from Middle Earth after falling into a river of lava? Any ideas on that one?

This was a great show and now I feel I understand better what happened. Bye the way, I love your accent! Keep doing what you all are doing. This is the best show of this type on TV.

    Thank You

“Best” is a really relative term when it comes to ingested items, primarily because different people have different preferences and experiences (which is why so many options exist).. . Anything that’s pure water is good, but there are a lot of minerals that you also need that typically comes from water… like the Fluoride. Fluoride is actually added to tap water because most people don’t get enough and it is required for the health of your teeth. If you are drinking pure water, you’ll want to make sure you get enough of your trace minerals, and you may need to use a Fluoride rinse as well to keep your teeth healthy.
