In the first episode watch as Adam visits his alma mater, the revered Yale University, to mentor a promising food warrior, Ric Best a.k.a “King Hungry the Eighth.” Adam and valiant King Hungry, begin a difficult journey six-pounds deep, the grueling challenge- to slay a mighty, cheesy beast. When the dust settles and his royal highness stands before his court, there can only be one winner. Will crown triumph cheese? Can man conquer beast?
The young, budding, and motivated monarch surrenders himself to the tutelage of our veteran host. As the legendary icon that is Adam Richman sets foot on his collegiate home turf, the energy is palpable.
The challenge? The Cheese Truck Challenge, is a 10 layer deep grilled cheese sandwich feast. The prize? Honor, and honor’s delicious reward, a sandwich bearing the King’s very own name. Catch this regal showdown, as the MvF Nation warrior dukes it out to etch his name in grilled cheese sandwich history.

Episode 2 leaves the formalities of kings and monarchies behind, to get down and dirty with Tampa’s very own wrestling phenomenon Jerry ‘Nasty’ Sags.
The Davy Jones Locker challenge is a habanero monster, a sweaty picante 10-winged creature of myths and lore. Adam takes wrestler Sags to the home of this scalding challenge, Tampa’s Rapscallion restaurant. The blood of Davy Jones, pure capsaicin, an ingredient used in pepper spray, is lavishly poured across the wings. As the crowd gathers and Adam stands proudly by, Captain James Morgan, the head chef and owner, brings out the finger licking fire locker. The habanero hits the lips, the fists pound the table, and the ‘Nasty’ tag team howl screams into the Tampa night.
