In the first episode watch as Adam visits his alma mater, the revered Yale University, to mentor a promising food warrior, Ric Best a.k.a “King Hungry the Eighth.” Adam and valiant King Hungry, begin a difficult journey six-pounds deep, the grueling challenge- to slay a mighty, cheesy beast. When the dust settles and his royal highness stands before his court, there can only be one winner. Will crown triumph cheese? Can man conquer beast?
The young, budding, and motivated monarch surrenders himself to the tutelage of our veteran host. As the legendary icon that is Adam Richman sets foot on his collegiate home turf, the energy is palpable.
The challenge? The Cheese Truck Challenge, is a 10 layer deep grilled cheese sandwich feast. The prize? Honor, and honor’s delicious reward, a sandwich bearing the King’s very own name.
