The blog is great but lots of my friends and I want ideas for motorhomers…..We want to see people going across country being full time travelers. My husband is retired Air Force and I have 27 years of government service. Our 4 kids are grown and gone and we plan to retire in the next 18 months, sell everything, buy a motorhomers, load up our pets and hit the road for a year or maybe forever. We want to visit military sites, national parks and Corps of Engineer camp grounds along rivers throughout the US. we have gotten so many great ideas for travel and food and would love to see someone like ourselves exploring the back roads finding great places to visit. With gas prices so high we worry that the camping fees may be a real concern in our budget. Recently friends of ours told us that they really think that motor homing may be too expensive now. These are concerns of many and a show with some average income people out there finding bargains would really be helpful. For instance we recently found out you can buy an annual Corps of Engineers Camping pass for less than $50 that will allow you to park in hundreds of locations for about $6.00. Information like this would be news to so many. In fact my husband I would like to volunteer to be that couple, out there on the road with our Jack Russle, Schnawzer, and cat sharing the experience with others that have dreamed of taking to the road but just aren't sure how much a year on the road would cost….and finding out if we can teach our cat to walk on a leash…..we are a fun family and plan to take to the road as soon as we can but we would sure enjoy a show about this type of adventure either with us in it or some other lucky family.

  • Koulouri may LOOK like bagels but they’re actually closer to pretzels, though hungry Greeks rely on this quick carb boost to get them through the morning just like New Yorkers.
