Fleet Week in New York City …
Remember that Sex and the City episode when Carrie meets a sailor from Louisiana? It didn’t work out too well for her, but the rest of the ladies enjoyed the Fleet Week festivities. This past week was Fleet Week in New York City and sailors, marines and coasties took over Manhattan for parades, concerts and other events.
Facebook Offices Open in Dubai …
Mark Zuckerberg has been in the news a lot lately. This past week, Facebook added an office in the bustling city of Dubai to its list of 30 global offices in an effort to drum up Middle Eastern ad dollars.
Monaco Formula One Grand Prix …
The Monaco Grand Prix wound through the streets of Monte Carlo this week. For 77 laps, Formula One cars squealed tires past spectators at terrifying speeds. Jennifer Lawrence and Nicole Scherzinger were both in attendance, in case you were wondering.
