You expect an aquamarine sea in Bali. But the bone-white brilliance of the wide sandy beach at the Conrad, near Nusa Dua on the island’s southeastern side, takes that turquoise tinge to another level. More »

Anthony has one more mission left on the docket for season 2! In the season finale of Hotel Impossible, Anthony travels to the Western Riviera in Grand Lake, CO, to help the hotel draw in customers. Grand Lake is scenic and quaint, with great conditions for skiing. The only problem is … it’s empty.

Located next to the western entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park at the edge of Colorado’s largest natural lake, the Western Rivera Hotel sees a peak in occupancy during the summer but is desperate for guests during the long winter.

Mike and Jackie Tompkins, first-time hotel owners, have dumped hundreds of thousands of dollars from their personal savings account into the hotel in a last-ditch effort to upgrade the its image. However, the worn-out outdoor chairs, broken fire extinguishers, and chipped wood hanging off the side of the hotel are only a few of the issues turning people away.

Will Anthony’s efforts — combined with the help of interior designer Blanche Garcia — be enough to bring tourists to this lovable mountain town with breathtaking views, lots of outdoor activities and big local spirit? Or, will Western Riviera be forced to close their doors forever? Find out tonight, on the season finale of Hotel Impossible at 10|9c.

Charleston

It’s no wonder why some of the most popular romance novels – Dear JohnThe NotebookThe Last Song – have been set in or near Charleston. Between the horse-drawn carriages, the colorful gardens, and the constant ocean breezes, Charleston exudes old-world romance and quaint Southern charm.

Many visitors head to Charleston in hopes of exploring the numerous historical attractions. The Citadel, a historic military college, offers full dress parades, and Civil War sites can be seen throughout the city and in surrounding areas. Many of the city’s inns and B&Bs are housed in historic buildings. The Jasmine House Inn, for example, is a beautiful, antique-filled mansion dating back to 1843, that features a pretty courtyard. The Harbour View Inn is a historic landmark, and the only waterfront hotel downtown.

And, of course, visitors also come for the beaches. There are many different beach towns within a short drive from downtown, with Folly Beach perhaps being the most popular. Tides Folly Beach looks right out over the sand, and all rooms have balconies with fabulous views.

Tonight at 9|8c on an all-new episode of Ghost Adventures, the guys return to the Goldfield Hotel in Goldfield, NV – the site of their very first investigation.

A boomtown with a rich mining history, Goldfield is considered a paranormal hotbed, especially to Zak, Nick and Aaron, who have had some terrifying experiences in the town’s hotel.

A fire destroyed much of the town in 1923, leaving only the hotel and the high school. The abandoned Goldfield Hotel is listed on the Nevada State Register of Historic Places, but its past is filled with some twisted stories. The owner of the hotel is believed to have chained his pregnant mistress, Elizabeth, to a radiator in room 109 until she gave birth. But after he threw her baby down a mineshaft, Elizabeth disappeared. Does she still haunt room 109? The GAC is on a mission to find out.

Get ready for tonight’s lockdown with behind-the-scenes photos and this overview of the guys’ own history with the Goldfield Hotel:
