Can you hear that sigh from around the world? HE is finally here! That’s right — the royal baby is a boy!

All over London, people are toasting and cheering in celebration of the new lil’ monarch’s arrival!  The baby boy was born at 4:24 p.m., weighing in at  8 pounds, 6 ounces. The child will be third in line to the throne, behind his father, Prince William, and his grandfather, Prince Charles.

What will the royal baby’s name be? We’ll have to wait and see, but we do know that the newest member of the royal family will carry an impressive title: His Royal Highness, Prince of Cambridge.

Welcome to the world, little prince!

HIP HIP HURRAH! HIP HIP HURRAH!
TIS A PROUD DAY TO BE A BRIT!! With all the many horrendous things that we hear and read about on the news every day, it is lovely to see the world take such joy over the birth of the long-awaited Royal Baby! My father was a British Ambassador who was awarded the Order of the British Empire by Her Majesty the Queen for his tireless work with Princess Diana and Prince Charles. He passed in 2009; it warms my heart to think what he must be feeling now, and how very, very proud, Diana must be.
Little Angel, sleep now; you have NO idea what kind of life you are going to lead and the expectations that are going to be put on you, but you'll be all right – you've got some REALLY special people watching over you… God Bless, William, Catherine, and His Royal Highness, Prince of Cambridge.
