    From where I'm standing, it looks like it's a steep uphill trek from here. With such a high-altitude climb, it seems that all roads leading to the Tsemo Gompa Temple are unpaved and lined with good intentions.

  2. There are many such beautiful temples and monasteries in Ladakh, a mountainous province in the Himalayan region of Jammu and Kashmir. Ladakh is not just a hill station but a Buddhist destination too.
