It’s never too early to start saving for next year’s vacation — particularly when you’re planning a $119,000 ultra-luxe splurge on board the brand-spanking-new Four Seasons Jet.

Indeed, the high-end hotel and resort company has decided the sky is quite literally the limit, unveiling the travel industry’s first fully-branded private jet experience on Wednesday.

Debuting in February 2015, the jet — a completely retrofitted Boeing 757 — will be emblazoned with “Four Seasons” on the fuselage, and have the company’s logo displayed on its tail. The redesigned plane will take 52 guests on bespoke tours around the globe and will include an in-flight staff, as well as a dedicated on-board concierge happy to book spa treatments or golf dates at pending destinations.

Passengers will enjoy onboard comforts such as handcrafted leather flatbed seats, “globally inspired” meals and global in-flight WiFi. Of course, guests will stay in Four Seasons properties at each of the jet’s featured destinations.

Reservations are currently being taken for the following trips:

Around the World, February 2015: A 24-day, 9-destination extravaganza that includes visits to the stunning sandy shores of Bora Bora, a private, backstage tour of the Sydney Opera House, white water rafting in Bali and a trip to the iconic Taj Mahal in India. (Price: $119,000 per person)

Backstage with the Arts, April 2015: Art aficionados, rejoice! This 16-day tour takes guests to 6 cities across the globe, where they can appreciate cultural wonders including Milan’s Teatro alla Scala, Istanbul’s Hagia Sophia and the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg. (Price: $69,000 per person)

Around the World, August 2015: Can’t get enough of the great, wide world? This trip’s itinerary includes stops in Tokyo, the Maldives, the Forbidden City in Beijing and Marrakesh, Morocco. Highlights include a trip to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. (Price: $119,000 per person)

Pricey, but tempting, for an ultra-luxurious 24 day around-the-world private jet (with up to 51 of your closest friends) premium Four Seasons lodging and days filled with dramatic adventures such as Hawaii's Big Island landscapes by helicopter, "fire dancers in Bora Bora to the architectural wonders of the Taj Mahal in India and Sydney's Opera House…" as well as exotic Northern Thailand's Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai (admittedly my personal favorites), the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace in Istanbul, Turkey and a final stop in London, England before returning home with a once-in-a-lifetime trove of treasured memories.

Maybe $119,000 per person is not so steep a price after all?

  2. Very Expensive yet a thing to lust for!

Four Seasons resorts are amazing. There 2 Four Seasons resorts in Maldives, Kuda Huraa island in Male atoll and Landaa Giraavaru in Baa Atoll which is the only UNESCO bio-sphere reserve in the Maldives. Landaa Giraavaru is very close to Hanifaru Bay which is a world famous spot for snorkeling with whale sharks and mantas. You can read for more information. Thank you for the article.
