Choosing the perfect Florida beach just got easier with Visit Florida’s recent launch of Florida Beach Finder — an interactive “trip tuner” now available online. With the new feature, visitors can dial into 4 ranges of beach personalities — from adventurous vs. laid back to manicured vs. au naturel — that help narrow down the ultimate beach vacation based on the user’s personal preferences. Upon preference selection, the best beach matches will be revealed for them to view.

Considering Florida has 825 miles of beaches, Florida Beach Finder is a helpful (and fun) tool that assists with beach-finding research. Additionally, after plugging in their beach preferences, users can visually see the beaches with 360-degree, street view imagery in Google Maps, in addition to comprehensive beach guides and exciting photos (Visit Florida and Google collaborated on a 4-month trek to photograph Florida’s beaches for Florida Beach Finder).

All of Travel Channel’s top 10 beaches in Florida are included in Florida Beach Finder. Visitors can choose action-packed beaches like South Beach, laid-back hot spots like Key West or tony beach towns like Palm Beach. Even if users are not traveling any time soon, the new tool allows them to virtually walk hundreds of Florida beaches without ever having to leave the comfort of their home (though we highly recommend booking a ticket to visit one of Florida’s wonderful beaches soon)!
