cheeseburger and french fries

Summer – and its heat – has officially arrived, and with it comes summer foods: beachside BBQ, fried green tomatoes on the patio, lobster on the islands and more – all featured in our Travel’s Best Summer Foods for 2014.

Each summer food on our list and where to eat it, was a personal pick by our expert of panel advisors, which includes Travel Channel hosts Andrew Zimmern, Danielle Dimovski and Michael Voltaggio, senior writer Amy McKeever and more.

With all the great summer food our country has to offer, there were plenty that we couldn’t list. Check out this year’s list and let us know if we missed one of your favorites. Then, visit our Fan Favorite page to comment on which summer foods (and where we should eat it) should be added to our experts’ picks.
