A Boston native and Washington, DC, resident, Allee has been growing her bucket list since she began working as an Interactive Producer for TravelChannel.com. When not playing with her Frenchie named Pearl, Allee can be found inputting destinations into Kayak.com in the hopes of finding a deal on a flight to visit friends or family -- she’s lucky enough to have couches to crash on in Boston, New Orleans, Miami, New York and more. No matter how far she goes or what incredible trips she takes, her favorite place on Earth will always be a little island off the coast of Massachusetts: Nantucket.

Tomorrow at 10|9c, tune in for the premiere of an all-new Travel Channel series, Top Spot. In each episode, travelers will take a whirlwind tour of 3 different hotels in their chosen vacation destination. They’ll test out the beds, sample the food, sip the hotel’s cocktails, explore the grounds, swim in the pools … all in an attempt to decide where they’ll spend their hard-earned vacation dollars.

In the premiere episode, a Pennsylvania family heads to Miami, FL, with a $2,500 budget for a 5-night Sunshine State getaway. Will they choose the kid-friendly Trump International Beach Resort, the trendy Shelborne South Beach or the historic Biltmore Hotel? See our photos to learn more about their 3 options, and tune in to find out the family’s Top Spot tomorrow night! READ MORE

If you’re anything like me and don’t have quite the athletic ability to make it to the Olympic Games as a competitor, then the closest you can get to the experience is as a cheering spectator in the stands. The good news is that being a spectator at the Olympics is an absolutely amazing experience, and the even better news is that it still isn’t too late to get tickets to events at the 2012 Olympic Games in London!

Even though Boston is still mourning the loss of Kevin Youkilis to the White Sox, the city is in the process of celebrating the 100th anniversary year of Fenway Park – the nation’s oldest ballpark  – and you can take advantage of it. Start celebrating Independence Day a few days early at Boston’s 31st annual Harborfest! There’s no better city to celebrate our nation’s independence than in Boston, the cradle of the American Revolution. All day today, enjoy fun (and free!) children’s activities – including juggling shows, dance performances and all kinds of balloon-animal fun. When you’re all ballooned-out, get a history lesson from representatives of the USS Constitution Museum, Historic New England and the New England Aquarium. READ MORE

Have you been keeping up with the Kardashians? (Don’t worry, we won’t judge.) If you’ve given in to the guilty pleasure like we have, you know America’s favorite love-to-hate-them family recently took a trip to the Dominican Republic. Now you can replicate the K family’s trip — even without a Kardashian-sized budget. READ MORE
