It’s new and improved! TravelChannel.com relaunched Thursday with a cleaner design and better user experience. The Travel Channel Digital Team has been working long hours over the past year to find ways to improve the website and enhance specific features. Here’s a quick list of some of the changes Travel Channel users will notice when clicking around the new site:
Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Jay Wasley and Billy Tolley return tonight on Travel Channel for an unprecedented investigation at Bell Witch Cave. Ghost Adventures was the very first paranormal TV show to film on the Bell property.
If you’re into haunted travel, then this is an episode for you. Situated in the backwoods of Adams, TN, is Bell Witch Cave and cabin, the former home of John Bell, who was mysteriously murdered by what many believe is an evil spirit that stills resides on the property today. Zak and his team are off to investigate what lies beneath the grounds in the Bell Witch Cave and see if they can communicate with this dark entity to find the truth behind John Bell’s murder.
In anticipation of tonight’s premiere, I asked Zak and Aaron a few questions about the Bell Witch Cave. Here’s what they had to say.
How excited were you to finally get into Bell Witch Cave and cabin?
Zak: We have been trying to get the Bell Witch Cave for years. They always shot us down and said they’d never let any paranormal TV show film there. When we FINALLY got permission to investigate there, it was an absolute HONOR to be chosen. READ MORE

Travel’s Best Halloween Attractions 2014
It’s been a little over 8 years since my first production meeting with Andrew Zimmern, a chef who was unknown to me at the time — as I was brand new to the TV and foodie worlds. He has hundreds of hours and thousands of miles recorded on national television, and to this day, I still ask myself, “How does he do it?” How does anyone travel so much, eat so exceptionally well, and then be expected to return to normal life? As we prepare for another season of Bizarre Foods With Andrew Zimmern, which kicks off tonight at 9|8c on Travel Channel, I decided to get the answer to that question, along with others about what we can expect on Bizarre Foods, what Andrew is most excited about this season, his future travel plans and projects in 2015, and more!
As you go into another season of Bizarre Foods, what are you most excited for the viewers to see?
I think what’s most exciting for me is that we are finally able to slow down a little this season and dive deeper into the cultural elements of the show that are more interesting to me than skimming along the surface of the places we visit. TV needs to be relevant to stay current, and today’s viewers demand that. I think this season, we are finally delivering on that in spades. READ MORE

Host Ryan Van Duzer at Avery Brewing Co in Boulder
Travel Channel’s digital video producer Arthur Hsu traveled to Colorado to film one of our newest original series, Microbrew Madness, launching next week on travelchannel.com. The new web series will take viewers on a journey to discover the best craft breweries in America. Having traveled many times before to Colorado for his passion sport of bouldering, and now to film Microbrew Madness, it was the perfect time to catch up with Arthur to get an “insider’s” look at the city fondly called “the city nestled between the mountains and reality.”
What brought you to Colorado?
I was producing the last webisode for Microbrew Madness, at 2 great craft breweries, Avery Brewing Co in Boulder and Verboten Brewing in Loveland, with host Ryan Van Duzer and producer Andrew Robertson. We have been working on this project for nearly a year, starting off at Cigar City Brewing in Tampa, FL, so it’s bittersweet to see this wrapped up. The craft breweries we’ve filmed are in destinations that offer much more than just tasty craft beers, and based on the crowds during the 2 weekdays we filmed, the locals agree. READ MORE
Japanese Torii Gate

In July, I was lucky enough to travel to Hiroshima, Japan, from the Washington, DC, area for a shoot. I was working on an exciting new pilot for Travel Channel that looks at places where something big once occurred — either manmade or natural — that changed the place forever, and we find out what makes it different today. It’s a very inspiring project, and I wanted to feature cities that are not the “normal” vacation and tourist destinations. So Hiroshima was a great place to start. READ MORE
And the Nominees for Most Dramatic Getaway Are…

This year was a fantastic year for TV dramas, from Game of Thrones to Downton Abbey to House of Cards. Honestly, it’s hard to pick a favorite among the nominees. But the best part about some of our favorite dramatic series (aside from the writing and the acting, of course) is that they took us to a few epic, sweeping landscapes, perfect for inspiring your own dramatic adventure.

What brought you to Ireland?
Ireland is steeped with so many mystical legends and so much dark history, it is literally a land of fantasy for the Ghost Adventures Crew. We wanted to investigate tales of the devil himself by visiting 2 locations and exploring other places said to be inhabited by ancient Celtic demons and spirits.
